RFK Jr Calls for NATO to Be Disbanded

Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has called for the globalist North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to be disbanded. RFK Jr, the nephew of President John F. Kennedy, argues that NATO is a threat to global peace. “It is insane to even keep NATO going,” Kennedy said during a fundraiser dinner on Tuesday.

“Russia lost the cold war.

“The people who run Russia are people who we want running Russia.

“Let’s help them the way we did Germany and Japan after that war with the Marshall Plan.

“That’s not what we did.”

Kennedy explained that the U.S. establishment’s hostile attitude toward Russia over the years, along with NATO’s deliberate expansion, led to the current conflict in Ukraine.

“If you treat somebody like your enemy,” Kennedy said.

“It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy.

“They’re going to become your enemy.

“I certainly would not have moved NATO to the east if I had been president.”

Kennedy’s NATO position closely resembles President Donald Trump’s stance on the alliance.

Trump was openly critical of NATO while he was president and reportedly suggested the U.S. should withdraw from the bloc in 2019.

Fearing a second Trump term would harken to the end of NATO, Sens. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Tim Kaine (D-VA) introduced a bill earlier this month that would prevent the president from withdrawing from NATO without congressional approval.

Other politicians outside the U.S. have also spoken out against NATO, such as German MP Sevim Dağdelen.

Dağdelen recently gave a speech in the German Bundestag as the NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania took place.

“It is high time to dissolve this murderous military pact,” she said.

“After 75 years, it is time for the USA to withdraw its troops, including nuclear weapons, from Germany.”

Notably, dozens of other political parties that are specifically opposed to NATO have sprung up across Europe over the last 25 years.

This influence was greatly undermined during the Ukraine conflict.

That didn’t stop Democrat President Joe Biden from claiming last week that NATO was “more unified than ever.”

Biden made the comments shortly after failing to secure Ukraine’s bid to join the alliance, a move that could immediately trigger a nuclear World War III.
