Jim Jordan Lands Knockout Blow: ‘Democrats Are Attempting to Censor Speech during a Censorship Hearing – Can’t Make It Up’
Republican House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) landed a knockout blow at today’s hearing on Democrat President Joe Biden’s censorship of Americans. With such a vital issue as free speech on the agenda, most would assume that the Democrats would join the GOP to get to the bottom of the bipartisan issue.
They did not, however.
They did the opposite and tried to censor and remove a key witness during the hearing.
The anti-Amercan effort caused Jordan to say: “Democrats are attempting to censor speech during a censorship hearing. Can’t make it up.”
Reporter Michael Shellenberger said after new evidence emerged about censoring Hunter Biden’s laptop:
“In 2020, the FBI repeatedly warned Twitter & Facebook of a forthcoming Russian disinformation operation about Hunter Biden.
“When @nypost published emails from his laptop, Twitter & FB censored the content.
“Now, an FBI official admits FBI knew the laptop was real. Massive.
“We already knew that the FBI took possession of Hunter’s laptop in Dec. 2019.
“What we didn’t know was whether or not the FBI agents warning of Russian disinfo related to Hunter Biden also knew that FBI had his laptop.
“Now we know they did,” he noted.
Three days ago, Laura Dehmlow, the head of the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force, told congressional investigators: “Somebody from Twitter essentially asked whether the laptop was real.
“And one of the FBI folks… did confirm that ‘yes, it was’….”
“This is mindblowing,” Shellenberger commented.
“The people who dismissed the Twitter Files as ‘conspiracy theories’ said compartmentalization would have prevented the FBI agents who warned of a coming Russian disinfo campaign from knowing that other FBI agents had the Hunter Biden laptop.
“We now know they weren’t just ‘theories.’
“There really was a conspiracy by FBI to ‘pre-bunk’ the Hunter laptop story before the media got it.
“The ‘pre-bunking’ was disinformation.
“And the censorship that FBI demanded and got from Twitter and Facebook was part of the FBI disinfo.
“It’s important to state something clearly: what has just been revealed is evidence of a criminal conspiracy by high-ranking FBI officials to influence the 2020 election.
“The people involved in that conspiracy must be investigated & prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
“Lovers of irony note: the true role of the FBI’s ‘Foreign Influence Task Force’ was to influence the US elections.
“By constantly accusing others of disinformation, the FBI waged a war of distraction.
“FBI warned of Russian influence as it exercised illegal influence.
“Sick stuff,” he concluded.
