No Hard Feelings Movie Review: Surprisingly Charming!

No Hard Feelings Movie Review

Are you thinking of watching the new movie No Hard Feelings? Here’s a spoiler-free review for you.

Overview
From the trailers, you might think that this movie is just a raunchy comedy, but it’s much more than that. No Hard Feelings delivers important lessons about stepping out of your comfort zone, not being stuck in the past, and putting your phone down once in a while. It’s also a movie about friendship, and there’s some good stuff in here.

The Plot
The movie follows a 19-year-old boy named Percy whose parents have hired a woman in her early 30s to help him come out of his shell before he goes to college. While there are some good messages about bullying and stepping out of your comfort zone, there are also some uncomfortable moments. Some parents might do anything for their kid, but in this case, it feels like Percy is being taken advantage of. Jennifer Lawrence plays Maddie, the woman hired to help Percy, and she’s great in her role.

The Cast
Both lead performances are fantastic. Andrew Barth Feldman, who plays Percy, and Jennifer Lawrence have great on-screen chemistry. Their relationship becomes believable, and they deliver some laugh-out-loud moments. Overall, the cast is great.

My Thoughts
I found No Hard Feelings to be more charming and funnier than I expected it to be. It has some good messages, and the cast is great. However, there were some uncomfortable moments that I couldn’t move past, and I think this movie is not for everyone. If you’re planning to see it, be prepared for some raunchy humor and some uncomfortable moments.
