Elon Musk Suggests Covid Shots Linked to Cardiac Arrest of LeBron James’ 18-Year-Old Son

Twitter boss Elon Musk has warned that Covid shots cannot be ruled out as the cause of soaring heart failure in young people after NBA star LeBron James’ 18-year-old son Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest while playing basketball. Musk weighed in on the situation after Twitter users expressed their disbelief that Bronny James, a rising young athlete in peak physical condition, could suffer sudden heart failure.

As Slay News reported Bronny James collapsed during basketball practice in Los Angeles Monday and was rushed to the hospital, the family revealed Tuesday.

He was immediately admitted to the ICU.

“Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest,” according to a family statement.

“Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital.

“He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU.

“We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information.

“LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

LeBron James has been a longtime vocal advocate of Covid vaccines.

In 2021, he issued a public statement to declare that he’d researched the Covid vaccine and decided it was “best suited for not only me but for my family and friends.”

“We cannot ascribe everything to the vaccine, but, by the same token, we cannot ascribe nothing,” Musk said.

“Myocarditis is a known side-effect.

“The only question is whether it is rare or common.”

“Myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle (myocardium),” according to Mayo Clinic.

“The inflammation can reduce the heart’s ability to pump blood.

“Myocarditis can cause chest pain, shortness of breath, and rapid or irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias).

“Severe myocarditis weakens the heart so that the rest of the body doesn’t get enough blood.

“Clots can form in the heart, leading to a stroke or heart attack.”

Myocarditis, which can be fatal, is a known side-effect of Covid vaccines, according to the CDC.

Bronny James’ cardiac arrest is believed to have been a Code 3, which signifies the seriousness of the call as it requires ambulance lights and sirens.

This incident is not the first time that USC medical staff has responded to a basketball player with cardiac arrest during practice, the LA Times reported.

Last summer, Vince Iwuchukwu collapsed during practice and was revived by USC athletic trainers.

He returned to playing basketball six months later.

Bronny recently took another step on the path to following his father’s footsteps by choosing to wear his iconic No 6 at USC for his freshman year.

USC revealed the exciting news on its Twitter page, writing alongside a graphic: “FIRST LOOK: Bronny James will wear No. 6 for the Trojans.”

His father LeBron, is synonymous with the No 6 from his glittering career with both the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat – although he has also worn No 23 before.

This year, 38-year-old James became the leading points scorer in the all-time history of the NBA.

He overtook Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s tally of 38,387 career points.
